Gilbert Chevrolet teams up with GM to support Our Village Okeechobee
December 20, 2023I'm thrilled to announce that our dealership, Gilbert Chevrolet teamed up with GM (General Motors) and awarded a GM Corporate Giving Grant to support Our Village Okeechobee!
As a proud member of the GM Women's Retail Network, I'm passionate about giving back to our community, and was honored to select a local non-profit organization that is owned and operated by a woman. This grant will help Our Village Okeechobee with programs that help our local children in need.

Gilbert Chevrolet teams up with Chevy Youth Sports
December 8, 2023Gilbert Chevrolet teamed up with Chevy Youth Sports for a test drive event to help raise funds for the Okeechobee High School. With the help of teachers, staff, and friends, we helped raise $1,500!
Gilbert Ford Helps Raise Money for Seminole Elementary
December 4, 2023We're thrilled to announce that Seminole Elementary is a recipient of funds from the Ford Drive 4 Ur School program!
Huge thanks to the entire school & local community who test-drove a Ford during the test drive event. Your participation helped raise over $3,000 for school programs!

Veterans Day Clay Shoot
November 10, 2023The Gilbert Family of Companies was excited to be a sponsor of the inaugural Veteran's Day Sporting Clay Shoot on November 10th.

The Gilbert Family of Co. Supports the Indian River State College Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex
November 2, 2023The Gilbert Family of Companies is honored to be a part of the Indian River State College Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex. The Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex is the most technological training facility in Florida. Students will have the opportunity to train for careers in high-demand occupations such as; Mechatronics, Robotics and Smart Automation, Welding, Automotive Technology, Refrigeration, and HVAC. Gilbert Ford Participates in "Lincoln / Ford Day" hosted by Indian River State College
November 9, 2023Gilbert Ford was recently part of the "Lincoln/Ford Day" hosted by Indian River State College at their new state-of-the-art facility, the Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex, where two vehicles were donated to this amazing facility.

2022 Chevy Youth Baseball & Softball Clinic
April 19, 2022Gilbert Chevrolet has again teamed up with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide a FREE instructional clinic to the youth of the Okeechobee area.
While baseball and other sports may only be considered ‘games,’ they help kids develop invaluable skills like leadership, cooperation, and sportsmanship while also bringing families and communities together. Okeechobee Baseball Player Hits Homerun: Awarded $500 College Scholarship
April 19, 2022Orlando Arana of the OHS Baseball Team recently hit a homerun through
Gilbert Ford's "Bust the Windshield" monster wall, winning a $500 college scholarship and $500 for the OHS Baseball Team. Congratulations, Orlando!

The Roland Marina Fishing Series is an elite fishing tournament on Lake Okeechobee. Professional bass fisherman from all over the country come to get the best catch. It is a tournament that never disappointments.

Gilbert Chevy recently teamed up with the OHS Drama Club-Thespian Troupe 7319 for a Test Drive Fundraiser. With their help, and yours, we were able to help raise $1,500 for their club! Congratulations!

Mrs. Stanley was selected the 2021 Florida Department of Education Teacher of the Year. She has only been teaching for four years, but has quickly become an inspiration and role model for her students and other educators in the District.
